Sling Orange vs Blue vs Orange+Blue Live Streaming TV Plan
SlingTV is a leader in streaming live TV, they introduced the “A La Carte TV” concept about 3 years ago and have continued to evolve the service. Sling Blue offers 46 channels in all with some unique channels like BET, Bravo, FOX, NBC, Nick Jr. etc. that are not available in Orange plan. Sling Blue plan is available for $24.99.month.
If you like to have all channels, you can choose Sling Orange+Blue plan that offers all channels available on either Orange or Blue giving consumers a total of 51 channels. The Sling Orange+Blue plan costs $39.99/month.
With both Sling Blue or Orange, customer can also personalize channel lineup with extras that include Kids, Sports, News, Lifestyle, Hollywood, Heartland etc. In addition, you can also add International programming like Latino, Polish, French, German, Italian, Arabic, Chinese, Dutch, Hindi channel groups to name a few. You can also choose select mini channel packs which have fewer channels and cost less. Sling Orange offer single (1) stream, meaning you can only watch SlingTV on one device at a time. If you have multiple TVs, or devices, you can select Sling Blue that allows consumers to stream up to three streams simultaneously. Recently SlingTV started offering DVR option for the SlingTV service, it’s called Cloud DVR and can be added to any plan for $5/month additional.
For families with young kids, getting the Sling Orange and adding the $5/month Kids Add-on may the way to go. Similarly, if you are a sports fan, you can choose to add the $5/month Sports Extra. Premier channel like HBO® $15.00/mo, Cinemax $10.00/mo, Starz $9.00/mo, SHOWTIME® $10.00/mo etc are also available and can be added to any subscription. The options are really unlimited and there is no better way to watch TV like Sling A La Carte TV.
